Well, Its September!

Yay!!

After my Birthday month of February, this is my second favorite month!

If you haven't seen this on my Facebook page...

We have a WALKER!!!

No, make that a runner/climber!

Its CRAZY how fast it all happens!

this was probably 2 weeks ago...

The next few weeks are CRAZY for us!!

I have my wedding anniversary,

this cutie will turn 1!!

So that means a fun PARTY!!!

{Where the Wild things are theme}

We are going to a University of Oregon football game

and a Seattle Seahawk game!

We are spending a week at the beach

Hmmm, what else?

Dylan is taking a gun class, I'm going to my first book club meeting...

I feel like if I blink its going to be October!

But that's ok, cause then we are off to VEGAS!!!

I will have a ton of photos over the next few weeks...

so more posts to come!!

I have been a bad Blogger...

Its summer and I think that is the best excuse I have...

and just when I want to start Blogging again...

the September Issues come out.. UGH!!!

that's right, the best magazine issues of the year!

here are just 3 of my 20ish magazines I get... all over 650 pages!!

This has been an awesome summer so far....

We have re painted the downstairs of our house..

I have been to Seattle to hang with these girls!

where we laid by the pool

{which way to the gun show??}

we have been to the Zoo 4 times!

I got my Passport!

We ordered these to protect my ears at the

U of O Duck and Seahawk football games!!

We have ordered my BIRTHDAY INVITES!!!!

and have been to 15wineries!

we re-did our mortgage last week :)

{super happy with our new rate... ugh,

but what a huge pain in the ass....}

Kallen is getting 4 teeth and taking steps!!

we have spent many nights at the beach

and many other fun things...

I will update more in the next few days :)

Well, I had my first teacher/parent moment...

The... "can I talk to you for a moment" moment..

but it was a good one :)

The teacher pulled me aside and told me she thought

Kallen was ready for Level 3 at Gymboree!

I know, this my seem silly...

But she explained how Kallen was very advanced in his crawling and

motor skills and seemed to be interested in things that an 11 month old

would be interested in!

{ahhhhhh.. a Momma LOVES to hear how good her child is!!}

So this week we will be off to Level 3 at Gymboree :)

The hubby and I are planning a long weekend

{heck, the Wynn wasn't even built when I was there last!}

So with this being my hubby's first Fathers Day...

I wanted to make it special :)

I asked him for a few days where he wanted to go to dinner..

and in true guy form he choose the Dirty Bird {AKA Red Robin}

ugh.. guys!!

I did get him a "fun" present

{well to him}

Tactical shooting lessons.

Sunday morning I took my dad out to breakfast at the BEST

breakfast place in Cannon Beach.. Lazy Susan Cafe!

Now on to the OUCH..

On Sunday when I was at work our little climber fell.

Kallen has been starting to take some steps after pulling himself up

on to things.. well this time he lost his balance and took a fall..

We were going to get his photo taken for his Passport this
week, but I think we will wait till next week...
Poor little guy :(

Now on to the POO...

you should probably stop reading now.....

I was in the living room this morning and Kallen was crawling
around checking things out.. a very typical morning.
As he crawled into the Kitchen I got on the computer and
started to check my e mails, face book, the normal stuff.
I noticed he was crawling around his changing table and
then back into the kitchen...
It got quite, so I thought I would check it out...
to my horror
he had a diaper to the side of him..
and his hands were covered in POO

So it was up to the bath we went!!

Kallen's 1st Haircut

Believe it or not..

Dylan and I thought Kallens hair was getting a little out of control,
so we tag teamed his first haircut :)

I think it looks pretty good, if I do say so myself...

Yesterday started out as any other day...

Kallen and I were playing around the house

taking it easy...

after 10am is when it started to fall apart :(

when Kallen woke up from his morning nap he felt a little warm,

he had been fussy the day before but nothing too bad.

I took his temp and it was 101.8

I called the pediatrician, we went over some things

to look for and nothing seemed alarming so she told

me to keep and eye on him and to call back if things changed.

Then my mom called,

her car was acting up and was at the dealership getting looked at.

She asked me if I could pick up her keys.

"sure"

I ran down to Mercedes...

they were still getting her car ready...

so I took a look around the showroom,

{Isn't she pretty}

We are just a few payments away from paying off our Hummer,

I don't think I can help myself from looking...

I have never, NOT had a car payment!!

I think its a little more REALISTIC {ugh, I hate that word}

If we get another SUV, like a Tahoe or Suburban...

But a girl can look, right??

Any hoo.. I grabbed the booklet of the C350

and returned home with my moms keys.

We met my mom and her BF for dinner at 630pm,

then headed back down to the dealership to

pick up her car....

On our way MY car started to make the

most horrific noise I have ever heard...

we were only a few blocks away from the Mercedes Dealership

so that's where I had AAA come get my car and tow it to our

mechanic, I would normally have my FIL look at it

but he is on a whirlwind trip through Europe right now.

{lucky guy!!}

after all that we FINALLY get home at 930pm

My mom is on the phone with Tommy

{the BF of 16 years, isn't there another word?

it makes them seem like they are 16 using BF & GF}

Surprise, Surprise his car is now making a weird noise!!!

{3 cars down in 1 day}

we all try to go to bed,

but I wake up at 1245am to my little guy

and an AWFUL cough!

We call the advise nurse at 1am and they asked

us to bring him into the Emergency Room..

This is our first {middle of the night} ER trip.
Now his temp is 102.3
they rule out Coop Cough and say it just a
respiratory infection and may last 3 days to 3 weeks..
UGH!
Oh, and it will get way worse before it gets better..
The good news is we were in and out of the ER
in less than 45 minutes!
We gave him some infant Advil
and to bed he went till about 345am..
So I brought him into bed with us and he slept till 7am.

Today is a new day,
the sun is shining
Kallens temp is back down to 101
he is in good spirits
I have a fun girls night planned for tomorrow
and hopefully its an easy fix with my car :)

Yesterday while I was at work I learned of

a friends son who passed away..

That is now 3 children under the age of 3

that have passed away since I have become a mother.

I went over to a section of our gallery that

has quotes and "words of wisdom"

so I can remember even the 3 or 4 times a night

he is waking up while {I think} he is teething

I purchased 3 months of Latisse,

I have used less than 1 months supply.

So with the upkeep, I think I will be able to use

a 3 months supply for about 9 months!

My First Mothers Day {Weekend}

AMAZING!

That's how I would describe my first Mothers Day!

Friday started out with flowers from my sweet hubby

and some from my lil kiddo...
and an adorable card!
from Kallen :)
I'm pretty sure my hubby helped our 7 month old
with his signature...lol

Saturday I spent the day with a friend wine tasting
and a yummy lunch in Dundee :)

Sunday We met my mom and Grandma at Mothers Bistro
Hands down my FAVORITE place for breakfast in Portland!

Monday I met up with my dad and did a little more

wine tasting in Dundee and Dayton!

Last but defiantly not least...

Yesterday I almost killed my son..

ugh..

I have given him a few apple cores to chew on..

and have sent pic's to my mom and hubby thinking is oh, so, cute!

well, yesterday he was able to gnaw off a piece..

and choke on it.

As he was trying to breath, making that horrible choking sound

and tears were running down his face

I put him on his stomach, with my fist under his tiny rib cage

and I started to pat on his back..

nothing

his eyes were closing and the tears we slowing down

I turned him over again and gave him one more

strong PAT on the back..

AND

apple chunks everywhere and a coughing baby

I think that's when I remembered to start breathing...

I scooped the rest of the apples out of his mouth and hugged him

LESSON:

Don't let baby's teeth on apple cores...

SAHM vs Working From Home {Politically Correct @ Swim Class?!}

So, yesterday at swim class I was talking to another mother about how cute her little girl is and how adorable Kallen is..lol.
{cause remember its an all dad and baby swim class :)}
Making great conversation, giggling and taking photos of our babies
she asked me a question I wasn't ready for:

"Do you work outside the home?"
Imagine me, deer headlight... thinking, racking my brain... what kind of job does she think I do inside the home, my husbands finances, Real Estate, on line specialist?
Totally confused...
my answer.. "Um, I work on weekends at a gallery"
the other mom "Oh, so your able to stay at home during the week?"
me "yep! A weekday SAHM"
the other mom "I just have friends who prefer to say they work at home raising children rather then say they are a stay at home mom."

Which lead me to think a lot last night about jobs...
DO YOU SAHM's THINK YOUR JOB IS A SAHM?

{this is MY blog and MY opinion, so don't get too pissy with me if you don't agree!}

I'm lucky enough to be able to stay at home with my little guy during the week and get away with working 3 weekends a month.. But I DON'T think its my JOB to stay at home!
Its my choice!
When I'm at home {or just with my little guy in general} I LOVE it!
and in NO way shape or form would I CHOOSE anything else :)
A job pays bills and puts food on the table...

So moms em I WAY off on this one?

I think these are GREAT! I have darkened the ones I LOVE! 1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die. 2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong. 3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger. 4. There is great need for a sarcasm font. 5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet? 6. Was learning cursive really necessary? 7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood. 8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died. 9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired. 10. Bad decisions make good stories. 11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day. 12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again. 13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to. 14. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call. 15. I think the freezer deserves a light as well. 16. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay. 17. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option. 18. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger. 19. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said? 20. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters! 21. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever. 22. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is. 23. I have heard a lot of my friends talk about a

Shellac Manicure.. even my MOM!

They claim to last 14 days!!

I can only keep a Manicure for about 72 hours..lol

Friends say they last anywhere from 10 days to a MONTH!!

My nails are SO soft they seem to start to chip

as soon as the pain is dry... :(

So yesterday, I also jumped on the band waggon!

we will see how long they last...

I cant believe Kallen is 6 months already!

On Friday we had our 6 month check-up!

Stats:

weight 21lbs..94%

height 28 in.. 80%

The Doctor said she had to check his cart twice

because she kept thinking he was 9 months

by the way he was sitting and playing with things :)

{I think that's a good thing, right?}

He is such a trooper,

he just slept the rest of the day after his shots!

Gosh, pretty soon we will be starting

to think of first Birthday ideas!!

Yesterday we participated in the Shamrock Run!

Dylan and I have done it a few times

but this was Kallens 1st!!

along with 35,000 other people

we took in the Oregon Rain...

and loved it!!!!

We then headed out to a yummy

and have a few beverages!

Snow Day & Gymboree!!

SNOW DAY!!!

{well, kinda..}

Today Kallen and I headed to the beach

for work this morning and it was snowing

so hard I decided to head back home.

{this is Dairy Queen where I turned around

elevation is about 300... and I have to go

up and over a 1500 ft mtn}

I felt kinda wimpy today..

but with my little man with me I'm

not taking any chances anymore...

So we turned around and headed to Gymboree!!

Kallen LOVES it!!

Everyone should try it a few times :)

can sometimes find 2 week passes online}

But this weekend we were at a Birthday party

and I had the camera in hand..lol

Needless to say... he was not fond of the party hat!

OH, and he sat in a highchair for the first time too!!

I think we are going to get one this weekend

cause he did so well in it!!

We did a little wine tasting a few weeks ago!

Tummy Sleeper = Night Crawler

I need HELP!

Well, maybe some suggestions...

My perfect little angel is just that..

PERFECT..

At our 4 month visit with the pediatrician we

talked about sleep, and how we should start

letting Kallen fall asleep on his own.

In his crib.

{ He would usually fall asleep on his own downstairs,

while eating or we were rocking his to sleep}

And per the pediatrician we did that!

and since the first night,

he has been falling asleep peacefully in

his crib, only one night if whimpers

in the past 2 weeks!!

{Hello mommy and daddy time ;p}

I have also, for the past few weeks few been working

on lots of tummy time and rolling exercises

I learned at Gymboree..

And they work great and are lots of fun!!

BUT NOW

I have a night crawler!!

I lay him down at the bottom of his crib

at night and turn off the lights

and he falls asleep at a bout 8pm..

and about 12am

and again at 3am

He wakes up SCREAMING

because he has crawled to the

top of his crib and is stuck!!

any ideas or suggestions?

Diaper Dilemma....

What kind of diaper do you use??

Fortunately, because of my {4} baby showers I am just starting to buy diapers..
BUT, every time I go I get confused and bring something esle home!
I think???
Or do diaper company change the characters on the diaper?
is that so you can tell what season they are from..
you know, Big Bird and Bert are on the Fall ones and Cookie monster and Erny are on Winter..lol
I have really only tried Pampers and Huggies
I'm not too sure about Huggies because they seem to leave these little ball things on Kallens stomach...
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Oh, the things my husband does to our child!

This weekend we tried food!!

well, very watered down rice cereal...

I don't know what I was expecting...

We talked to our pediatrician about food

and she gave us the green light

because our families have no know food allergies

Kallen seems interested in what were eating

and really likes things in his mouth..

but the swallowing part needs to be worked on.

It goes in...

and then comes back out..lol

Maybe we will retry in a week or so...

HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? my water broke at 2:30am, we got to the hospital at 4:30am {we had to pack!}, we got checked in at 6am {they had to run test to make sure my water broke} at 7am they hooked up my pitocen, my labor had just started. Kallen was born at noon :) SO maybe 5 hours!!!

21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? Dylan!! OMG!! 75mph in a 35!! it was 230am so not much traffic was on the road.

22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? my husband, my mother, the Doctor and his nurse.

clothes: 3-6 but mostly mostly 6-9 month size

cooing: yes!

smiles: I think he smiles most of the time :)

and giggles SO MUCH!!!

I love it!!!

eating: every 3-4 hours.

we bought some rice cereal and solid {stage 1}

baby food this weekend...

I think we might try sometime week :)

cries: only when he is fighting sleep and really tired

naps: depends.. when I'm at work he cat naps..

at home he usually takes 3 ~ 1 hour naps

sleeping: he goes to bed between 7 and 8pm and usually

sleeps till about 5 or 6am

binky: no, he has never really liked them.

he is mostly a fist sucker.. he has tried his thumb and pointer

and didn't really like them...lol!

bottle: loves them

eyes: blue, like his daddy but just a tad darker

hair: full head of light brown

loves: his hands, exisauser, getting baths, the TV {oops!}, sound effects and Gymboree!!

Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Egg Nog!! Shakes, lattes, I try to get my fix this time of the year :) We also have a family recipe.. it calls for a pint of bourbon and 1/2 pint of rum.. perfect for Christmas morning :)

Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Usually Santa's presents are the ones too big to wrap :) but some are wrapped.

Colored lights on tree/house or white? It depends.. I love white lights and on the house tree inside, this year my hubby decorated the tree on the side of our front porch with colored light and it looks GREAT!!

Do you hang mistletoe? Yes!

When do you put your decorations up? Usually in the first week or two of December!

What is your favorite holiday dish? Egg Nog! lol. j/k... lime Jello with Pears :)

Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Opening presents!!!

When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I don't remember.. I'm an only child, so a friend must have told me :)

Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? With SO many families, we open gifts on both days :)

How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Theme.. in the past I have got new ornaments every year at Target.. I have done, Blue and Silver ornaments, or Red and White, or all stars or all different colors of balls.. it depends! this year its all lights, multi colored, green and lots of white, some even flash!

Snow, love it or hate it? LOVE it!!

Can you ice skate? I have tried a few time but I'm not that good :(

Do you remember your favorite gift? My favorite gift was 7 years ago.. it was the first Christmas with Dylan.. I had no idea what he was going to get me, you know, the nervous excitement. As I opened a bottle of Victoria Secret bubble bath, I thought, well.. this is sweet but I think I need to drop more hints in the future..lol! Then he pulled a Tiffany's blue box out of his pocket!! I still love the gorgeous necklace!!

What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Probably seeing everyone, and for the most part everyone is in a great mood and happy :)

What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Egg Nog!! lol.. you can only have it once a year!

What is your favorite holiday tradition? Its probably with my moms family... we give each other small gifts from people we don't like, agree with or maybe an ex boyfriend.. lol! It makes for funny conversation!

What tops your tree? A glittery sliver star, We bought it for our first Christmas in our house!

Which do you prefer giving or receiving? I love getting presents but I'm sure in the next few years giving Kallen gifts will be more rewarding!!

Yesterday we enjoyed our first visit with

Jolly Old St Nick!

As we waited in line for about an hour

Kallen was such a good baby looking

around at all the other kids and babies

by the time we got to the front of the line

he was totally PASSES OUT!!

Santa suggested we take a sleeping photo...

And as we started to walk away Kallen woke up

so Santa took one more with him :)

So much fun!!!

What a FUN weekend!

Saturday morning we headed down to the Holiday Ale Fest

with some friends to taste some yummy beer!
Then we headed over to watch the BIG game with some friends!

12 week challenge!!

I HATE running,

I mean, really, really hate running!

But I'm going to start :)

Dylan and I have done the Shamrock Run

a few times, but we have only walked the 5k's.

Next year I want to run it!

And when I say next year,

It's more like 4 months from now!

This morning I started my "training"!

Since I had Kallen I have totally SLACKED

on getting back in to shape.

First we had Halloween,

then Thanksgiving

and next up is Christmas!

If I keep going the way I am

I will be back up to my delivery weight!

UGH!

SO HERE I GO!!

I'm going to start off slow and walk

and add a little running everyday!

I have picked 12 weeks because

my Birthday is in 12 weeks from now an

The Shamrock Run is in 15 weeks..

So depending on how well I do,

I may bump it up to the 8k!

But my goal for right now is the 5k!

I'm going to try to post once a week how

my training is going and hopefully

all my improvements to keep me on top of it!

March 13th is right around the corner :)

any tips, suggestions or words of encouragement are appreciated!!

Kallen @ 2 Months!!

Today was Kallan's 2 month check up!

and he's PERFECT!! :)

He was such a good boy!

It tore my heart seeing the biggest tears I have

ever seen fall, but all is better now

and is sleeping like a baby!

{haha}

at 2 months Kallen is

23 inches long and

weighs in at 13.2 lbs!

he is my little chunky monkey!

{pretty good for being 3 weeks premature!}

He is great at controlling his head.

Its fun to talk to him as I'm walking across the

room and have him watch me.

His eye seem to get lighter each day!

{fingers crossed for daddy's baby blues}

but we will settle for moms green eyes too :)

He loves tummy time,

when he doesn't fall asleep..

Yep, hes a stomach sleeper!

Speaking of sleep..

he is a GREAT sleeper!

He usually falls asleep at 730

wakes up at 130 for some food

then is back to sleep till usually 5ish

I would love to be able to change his time

to 930-7ish but I will take what I can get!

I hear stories about babies who don't sleep that

much, so if it works for him, it works for us :)

He smiles at us all the time

and yes, I sometimes still tear up

when its a BIG smile :)

and the newest things are

drooling and talking!

well, baby talking..lol!

{I never thought I would be excited about drooling..lol}

how much JOY you bring us..

Well, day 3 of work went really well!!

This was the third Wednesday I have gone

to the gallery and "worked"..

I don't know how "productive" I am

with him with me..

But it sure has been fun!!!

We have had several visitors come t see us :)

He is such a great baby!!

The only times he has been fussy

is when friends come in and the attention

is not on him or I'm on the phone,

But I have learned that can be stopped with

a bottle or pacifier.. so I'm more prepared

as the days go!

It also helps that the average age of customers

this time of year are Grand or Great Grandparents..lol

And they all want to see the BABY!!

I think were going to keep up the one day a week till the end of

February, cause things tend to bet busier in March!

WOW!

I cant believe its already been a whole month!

This little guy has changed so much already..

{just a few min old}

{Today!}

I could not have asked for a better baby!

Kallen is sleeping in his own crib at

night and for most naps during the day!

He is usually sleeping from about 9pm to 9am

with a feeding somewhere in between :)

We are breast feeding and pumping

and that is going great!

{I love doing both because it gives

daddy some time to bond with him

while I can take some me time!!}

We are taking him everywhere with us!

We have gone out to lunch, dinner, shopping,

to friends houses, bowling and even wine tasting {twice}!

This weekend we are taking him to the beach

for a campaign fundraiser and to visit with

friends and family!!

This will be out first

trip with dogs and all the baby gear we need!

Ok, lets not kid ourselves.. this is pretty much just a Kallen update! lol

I think I might have about 3000 photos of this lil guy

on my phone!

I love to just randomly shoot cause you never know

what hes going to do next!

I might be having a little fun dressing him up! lol

we have gone out several times to our new bowling alley just down the road!

Wine tasting at Ponzi Vineyard, about a mile from our house!

Enjoying some tummy time!

Last night was Kallens first night in his crib!

We put him down at 9:30pm

He woke up at 4:30am to eat
and he went back to sleep

from 5:30-8am!

SUCCESS!!
Im not as well rested..

I was up every 20 min to look at the monitor :)

We had his 2 week check up Tuesday!

he has gained 8oz and grown 1inch!

Yawn or Freak Out?

haven't had a freak out!!

But, baths and being naked are

We are having so much fun with

This has been such a whirlwind of a week :)

We have had about 4 full days home and are loving it!

He is SUCH an easy baby has

Baby Kallen is HERE!!

After a surprisingly easy labor and

delivery our baby boy is here :)

He was born at 12:15pm

September 21st

6lbs 7oz

19 inches long

He was about 3 weeks early

Were all doing FANTASTIC!!

I will update more next week

as we try to get all settled at home

as a new family!

Year 4!

Our Anniversary snuck up on us this year..

With a baby on the way,

Dylan working 70 miles away from home

and lots of other things going on...

We really didn't have much time to

plan, like we usually do.

But with that said..

It was a wonderful evening!

Like usual.. we got small cake from Helen Burnhart

the bakery that made our Wedding Cake!

Our wedding cake was 3 tiers with different flavors,

so every year we get a small cake that is 1 of the flavors..YUMMY!

Being pregnant I almost ordered all the flavors..lol!

I resisted.

We Enjoyed Vanilla Cake, with Marrionberry filling

and Cream Cheese frosting....

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner downtown Portland

at McCormick and Schmicks Harborside on the Willamette River

And for our GIFT..

As you might remember I was struggling with this years gift

Well, Kinda..

We have a lovely winery just about a mile from our house

1st Anniversary

PAPER

For our first anniversary we took a drive..lol

We Flew down to San Diego and spent 11 days

driving up the HWY 1 & 101 coast.

We ended up at a U of Oregon Duck

Football Game.

So, year 1 was Airplane and Game tickets

2nd Anniversary

COTTON

For our second anniversary we got new sheets!

We picked out new throw pillows, blankets,

sheets, duvet cover and dust ruffle.

3rd Anniversary

LEATHER

This one was a little tricky for us..

We thought and thought about this one??

We ended up with "The Duke"

a leather NFL regulation Football

We both love football so it just made sense!

It sits over our fireplace..lol!!

4th Anniversary

FRUIT/FLOWERS

This is the one I NEED HELP WITH!!

Any ideas or suggestions?

Neither of us have a major green thumb,

So, I'm not looking for "a bouquet of flowers"

or a "tree" or "plant" of some kind..

HELP!!

How far along? 36 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 2 more pounds. {GRAND TOTAL = 26lbs}
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch marks? I still don't think so :)
Sleep: Yes! A TON!
Best moment: 2 great moments this week.. Our friends Julia and Brian had a little baby shower for Dylan and I last week! It was SUPER sweet of them :) And we got the good news about Jackson!
Movement: Still lots :)
Food cravings: Sweets! Milkshakes and candy!
What I miss: The ability to jump in and out of my car.. lol! I feel like I have a to be super delicate with myself..
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope :)
Gender:BOY!
Labor Signs: Starting to get some cramping a few times a day..
Belly Button in or out? Still in :)
Happy or Moody most of the time: I'm still in a great mood :) Everything is coming together great and I have no complaints... {same as last week :)}
Weekly Wisdom: Still trying to stay motivated and keep exercising! When I cant tie my shoes anymore can I stop working out? lol!!!
Milestones: I'm dilating! Well I'm at a 1.. and he is 50% effaced! I have also started to loose my mucus plug! lol.. I know.. TMI!!!!

Thanks for your concern about my Baby Boy Jackie!

After a trip to our Vet this weekend..

It looks like he is all good!!

I found a quarter size mole looking thing on the back of his leg

last week and FREAKED out...

The Vet told me its probably just a skin tag!

We need to keep an eye on it... but if the size stays the same

we should be in the clear!!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I haven't had time to post anything this week with

my OCD setting in and getting things ready for Jr. to

make is appearance next month!

I had a wonderful Baby shower last weekend

hosted by Dylan's mother and I will post

some photos of that next week!

I have a doctors apt today..

they are every week now!

Were off to the beach this weekend

to work and play :)

Jackson my 10 year old pug has an appointment

at the vet for Sat.. he has a large lump we found

a few days ago.. {keep lil Jackie in your thoughts}

And last but not least, were trying to plan our

Anniversary/Baby moon trip!!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!!

Still feeling pretty good!

I will be full term after the 21st and if

Baby W would like to come soon after that day

I would love it :)

34 Weeks

Well before I get into the little questionnaire I will fill you all in on whats going on with us...
Last Thursday I was back at the doctors office because I couldn't see.. Well, that may be a little dramatic. For about an hour my vision was COMPLETELY BLURRY! I was at work and couldn't line up art to mat or frame and couldn't read customers credit cards.
After if was over it was followed my a REALLY bad headache :( I called the doc office and they had me come in and get checked out.. My Doc office is about an hour and 15 min from my work, fortunately my mom was headed into the city and followed me. My {wonderful and amazing} hubby met me at the hospital :) We talked with another OB cause mine was out of the office. They checked my vitals and all were good! She said it could be a number of things and to take it easy, drink lots of fluids and rest for the next few days.. OH, and NO more driving to work ALONE.. Its just to far and if it happened while I was driving I would be stuck!
So I guess I have kinda started maternity leave! YIPPEE! I am working a few more weekends but My hubby will have to drive us..
In other news.. Dylan just started an awesome remodel at an AMAZING ski house! The good news.. its a high end home that is GREAT work and pay and will keep him busy till right before the baby comes.. The BAD news.. Its 2 HOURS AWAY on Mt Hood! So I have my Aunt and Grandma on call for any emergencies! We are both crossing our fingers I go into labor at night or on a weekend! lol

How far along? 34 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I gained 2 more pounds over the past 2 weeks. {GRAND TOTAL = 24lbs} I'm still trying to keep my weight between 25-30lbs for my whole pregnancy.. looks like I will be at the higher end of my goal, but oh well... with nightly sweet cravings I think I'm doing ok :)
Maternity clothes? Yes, I'm pretty much living in all my maternity clothes.. and with only a little bit more time in them I'm trying to get use out of all of them! lol
Stretch marks? I don't think so, but with that said I cant see the bottom of my stomach anymore and my sweet hubby hasn't said OMG while rubbing me down with lotion! lol
Sleep: Yes! A TON! I feel SO lazy some days.. Dylan is leaving for work earlier so I'm up making his lunch at 5am, which gives me about 8 hours of sleep a night.. then I follow that up with about a 3 hour nap in the afternoon before he gets home! I'm trying not to feel guilty about all the sleep, cause I hear from several moms that I'm about to start tossing and turning at night as the baby gets closer. Best moment: I have been home more and I LOVE it :) Spending more time with Dylan before the baby comes has been FABULOUS!!!!!
Movement: Yes! lots of kicks in my right side to be exact!
Food cravings: Sweets! Milkshakes and candy!
What I miss: Being able to move. I think I'm starting to waddle a little..lol! whenever I have to go to the bathroom or I have a BH contraction I tend to move a little stiff.. and i think it looks {or it feels} like a waddle

Belly Button in or out? Still in :) I don't know if its going to "pop" it still looks like its pretty deep but it is feeling REALLY tight! Oh, and I'm just starting to get the little line below my Belly button, its pretty faint but I can see it!
Happy or Moody most of the time: I'm still in a great mood :) Everything is coming together great and I have no complaints... well maybe just that I wished I could have worked a little longer..
Weekly Wisdom: I'm trying to practice what I preach.. take it easy and try not to feel bad about it.. Your little one needs you to take care of yourself!
Milestones: I know have doc appointments every week!

And in other good news, We have been monitoring Baby W's heart at every apt and it has been regular and strong! {exhale} So were not going to be meeting with a cardiologist. My OB will monitor it when he is born and we will go from there...

and getting all of Baby W's clothes ready to wear..

Do any of you moms have cleaning products you LOVE?

I have been told by several moms to use DREFT

for the little ones laundry..

Do any of you use it?

suggest any other products?

Now down to the Nitty Gritty...

How about cleaning products for floors, showers/baths,

windows and the kitchen?

I already use Mrs Meyers and have loved using it but

lately I'm kinda getting sick of the smell...

I don't know if its the pregnancy or if I'm just

getting sick of cleaning..lol!!!

Any suggestions would be great!

I've come to realize... Pregnancy Edition 33 weeks!

I have seen this making the rounds of Facebook and on a few other blogs...
Thought it would be fun to do all about pregnancy and then next week, I will try to do all NON-pregnancy one :)

1. I’ve come to realize that my chest-size.... is growing day by day!

2. I’ve come to realize that my job… is wonderful! I'm a little nervous for my new job of "mother" but people keep telling me it will "just come naturally" :)

3. I’ve come to realize that when I’m driving… I freak out a little more now! I think It might be my raging hormones but my road rage is a little out of control lately... oops!

4. I’ve come to realize that I need… to understand it will all come together and if I forget a few little things for the nursery or my baby bag, it will be ok!

5. I’ve come to realize that I have lost... my brain. I have made some pretty silly mistakes {mostly at work} but I'm very thankful EVERYONE understands :)

6. I’ve come to realize that I hate... thinking I have to go to the bathroom every 5 min. So I run to the bathroom.. and nothing...

7. I’ve come to realize that if I’m drunk… That will mean I'm NOT pregnant anymore!! That will be a happy day {and a great reason to celebrate!!}

8. I’ve come to realize that money… is only half of what you need to prepare for a little one.. the other half is mental.

9. I’ve come to realize that certain people… have become AMAZING!! Its funny how having a baby can make you closer to certain people!

10. I've come to realize that my life would be easier if... I hadn't become allergic to being pregnant.. YEP! I have a small rash on my tummy that itches like crazy.. and the diagnosis from my doctor is I'm allergic to being pregnant! Go figure.. I'm allergic to everything else.. why not being pregnant! Another reason this little boy will probably be an only child!

11. I’ve come to realize that my siblings(s)… well, along with the little boy I'm caring, I am also an only child and LOVE it!!

12. I’ve come to realize that my mom… is wonderful! Everyday I notice how more and more how similar we are!

13. I’ve come to realize that my cell phone… is fantastic! Great for sharing my pregnancy photos and info with people who are not on Facebook lol :)

14. I’ve come to realize that when I woke up this morning... I'm pregnant!! I know, I know, I'm almost done.. but every morning it hits me again! lol

15. I’ve come to realize that my first love is… ICE CREAM!

16. I’ve come to realize that right now I am thinking about… laying in the sun, in Mexico! Were looking into taking our first family vacation in February! YIPPEE

17. I’ve come to realize that when I get on Facebook… something sucks me in and for some reason it takes me about 15 min to get off!

18. I’ve come to realize that today… has GREAT potential!

19. I’ve come to realize that my best friend(s)… are wonderful!

20. I’ve come to realize that my spouse... is an amazing man and is going to make a WONDERFUL father.

21. I’ve come to realize that what I really want to do… is have the baby NOW!! Well, ok lets wait about 4 weeks till I'm full term!

22. I’ve come to realize that life…keeps getting better and better!

23. I’ve come to realize that this weekend... will end my full time at work, then I'm part time for the next 4 weeks, followed by maternity leave for the rest of the year!

24. I’ve come to realize that next weekend…is a 4 day weekend for my hubby and me! Oh, and another baby shower!!!

25. I’ve come to realize that my child(ren)… will hopefully be a great mix of me and my hubby!

26. I’ve come to realize that when life gives you lemons... watch your little one make funny faces :)
