Here is some info on the TOWN PHOTO next week!

On Wednesday June 10 at the conclusion of the sculpting of Gulliver on the beach at the foot of Washington Street at 7pm there will be a Town Photo with Gulliver taken by George Vetter. George encourages everyone to wear blue on the bottom and white on the top. Everyone is asked to sign in prior to the photo. Upon signing in, each person will be given a sheet of paper with a number in bold print which that person will hold under their chin (for the first photo only) so that everyone can be identified later. If anyone would like to register ahead of time to avoid the last minute rush (recommended), please e-mail to get your number assigned. You will then be able to pick up your sheet on the beach. Because the sun will be in the West, it will be necessary to take the photo from the water side. Unless George finds a way to get high enough to look down on the crowd surrounding Gulliver, people behind the first couple rows will be hidden. In this case a second photo will be taken with everyone on the dune looking down at the camera. After the Town Photo, George asks that just the kids (16 and under) gather for a Town Kids Photo followed by one last photo of Town Pets and their Owners. Share this information with your friends and neighbors. The last Town Photo was taken in 2003 with 252 townspeople. It can be seen at
